About Us

The University of Delaware Men’s Rugby Football Club (UDRFC) represents the University of Delaware in high-level collegiate rugby. Founded in 1972, the club competes at the Division 1-AA level in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) under National Collegiate Rugby (NCR). It has built a strong tradition of competitive play, brotherhood, and pride in representing the Blue Hens.

In recent years, UDRFC has continued to elevate its program on the national stage. The team qualified for the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC), one of the premier collegiate 7s tournaments in the country, and won the Premier Shield Bracket in the Spring 2025 tournament. During the fall 15s season, the team also reached the playoffs, highlighting the program's continued growth and competitiveness.

UDRFC is a rapidly growing community built on hard work, development, and commitment to improving every season. We welcome players of all experience levels who are ready to compete, work hard, and become part of the Delaware Rugby tradition.
