Delaware hosts Winter H.S. Clinic

We hosted our 2nd annual rugby clinic at the University. The weather was outstanding and over 50 high school students took part of the event. Salty Thompson, the USA rugby high school all-stars coach, was present to talk and show the rugby players what his program is looking for in possible canidates.

U of Delaware invited again to CRC 7s event

The team was officially notified that they have been extended a bid to play in the 3-Day event at PPL park, Chester PA. The event will have Friday night matches to lessen the amount of games on Saturday and the overall time that fans have to sit and wait. The event is schedule for May 31 - June 2nd.

Delaware 7s squad finishes 3rd at Nationals

The team played in the USA Rugby College 7s Championship and finished 3rd in the nation. The team overcame a half time score of 5-10 over St. Mary's of California to win 22-10. Click here to read RugbyMag article...

Delaware wins New York 7s

The team traveled up to New York over Thanksgiving weekend and won the college division. They did not give up one score throughout the day. Winning the final match against last year's winner Stoney Brook 38-0. Overall the team scored 164-0 for the entire day. The team was Captained by Senior Jimmy Kowalski. Jimmy scored 4 tries, but freshman Joe Robert was the standout with scoring 7 tries.

U of Delaware 7s selected to USA Nationals

The University of Delaware 7s squad performed well enough this year to get an at-large bid from the USA rugby competition committee. The event is hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, TX on Nov. 30 & Dec 1, 2012.

This is one of the qualifers for the USA Rugby Nationals 7s Championship. The National tournament will be on Nov. 30 - Dec. 1 in College Station Texas home of the University of Texas A&M.
